Thousands of blood donors will have a chance to hug a BIG BEAR!
Thousands of blood donors who present to donate at a Red Cross blood drive in our area will have a chance to hug…and own a BIG BEAR; a Yamaha BIG BEAR ATV that is.
It’s all part of an exciting new promotion that kicks off February 1st and runs through March 31st, 2008.
All those who donate at a February or March Red Cross blood drive in the Appalachian Region will automatically be entered for a chance to win. The winner will be chosen randomly in a drawing in early April and will have the opportunity to hit the trails this spring on this ruggedly built 4-wheel drive ATV, provided by Piedmont Motorsports.
Hospital patients depend on caring donors sharing their good health through blood donations to help save or sustain their lives.
Rob Brown, proprietor of Piedmont Motorsports, is a blood donor with the Red Cross and was pleased to partner with us in the effort to provide a special reward to others who step forward as Hometown Heroes by donating blood and platelets.
Every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion. The Red Cross mission is to help provide a safe and adequate blood supply whenever and wherever needed. Here is a chance to Help us…Help others and be a Hometown Hero by donating blood at a Red Cross blood drive in the community.
