Help the Red Cross by Eating!
Our Red Cross chapter is selling Kroger Cares cards to support the work we do. Every time you use one of these cards, you’re helping our Roanoke Valley Chapter!
Shopping with one of these cards doesn’t cost you a penny more, but 5% of your purchase amounts are paid back to the Red Cross by Kroger. The cards are coded to credit the Roanoke Valley Chapter, and are good at any Kroger store anywhere.
The card is a debit card that can be reloaded and used indefinitely. It is reloaded by pre-paying—just go to the customer service desk at any Kroger store, or simply tell your cashier before they begin ringing up your purchases. You can reload it in any amount of money.
A card costs $5 and comes already loaded with a $5 value. You can get one by contacting Jon Low at the Roanoke Valley Chapter at 985-3539 or lowjo@usa.redcross.org.
Kroger sends a check for $250 to the Roanoke Valley Chapter each time the accumulated purchase amounts from all shoppers using the cards reaches $5,000.
When you shop at Kroger, why not pay with a Kroger Cares card? You’ll be helping the work of the American Red Cross in the greater Roanoke Valley!
